We provide Traditional Estate Fencing and Parkland Fencing throughout the UK, quality wrought iron fencing supplied and installed by us at the best cost, including galvanised steel, cast iron & steel boundary fencing. Our Estate Fencing and Railings are traditionally found on large estates, private gardens and amenity areas. This style of fencing has had a real renaissance in recent years and has become very popular with landowners wishing to replace existing post and rail style fencing with a more historic English style Estate Railings and Parkland Fencing, it should also be noted that Estate Fencing has also become increasingly popular with Landscape Architects and Property developers who also appreciate the way in which Parkland Fencing provides a break between formal areas and wilder areas beyond, without being intrusive, Estate Fencing molds into the wider landscape without dominating a view line or aspect.
Our fences are supplied to site loose, just as they would have done 150 years ago. Traditional Estate Fencing has no weak joints as it is fully welded on site, the fence line follows curves, up and down undulations and works around obstacles. Pre formed Panelled systems do not have this flexibility.
The Burghley is our most popular range and uses solid mild steel and is suitable for all normal Estate Railings and Parkland fencing requirements, it comes with either 4 or 5 rails, this version is suitable for light stock use such as sheep. Estate fencing always has round top rails, with a choice of round or flat lower rails. Our most popular steel fences are:
1. The Burghley B20416, this estate fence is 1.2m high (the same height as standard wooden post and rail), with 1m between each post, it has a 20mm round top rail with 4 lower rails of 16mm round. This version suits those who want to look beyond the fence and enjoy the view.
2. The Burghley B204256, this estate fence is 1.2m high (the same height as standard wooden post and rail), with 1m between each post, it has a 20mm round top rail with 4 lower rails of 25mm x 6mm flat. With this version of Parkland fencing you will see slightly more of the fence - so can be argued that it may be more suitable for more 'showy' areas.
The prices quoted are for Steel only. Our Burghley Estate Fencing is supplied loose and our estate fencing installation team is required to erect the fence. All our fences need welding and painting, this provides a solid, attractive and durable fence that will last for well over 60 years.
Our Burghley and Highland Estate Fencing can also be galvanised if extra protection is required. This may be a suitable option for fencing in high traffic areas, roadsides, commercial sites or exposed coastal areas. Galvanising gives the top level of protection to your estate fence. Once again Traditional Estate Fencing galvanised park fences are supplied loose (supply only or supply and installation) which allows the fence to also benefit from the added strength of welding as opposed to the other click fit versions historically available. It can then be painted using a specialist Galvacoat Paint process.
The Chatsworth is our lightest weight fence and is suitable for residential and amenity use. This version is made from 21mm Tubular Steel, whilst still maintaining the graceful charm of the weightier Burghley and Highland Range. The prices quoted are for steel only. A specialist installation team is required to erect the fence. This fence needs welding and painting on site, this provides a solid, attractive parkland fence that will last for many years.
The Highland is our heaviest weight fence, weighing nearly 20 kg per running metre. This comes with either 4 or 5 rails with a round top rail and a choice of either flat or round lower rails. This super solid fence has a thrust plate welded on every post, this plate is welded under the ground and reduces any lateral movement caused by the pressure of cattle and horses. The Highland Parkland Fence is supplied with heavier profile posts (50x8mm) and larger rails (25x8mm or 20mm round rails). The prices quoted are for steel only.
Our Highland Traditional Park fence is supplied loose and a specialist installation team is required to erect the fence. All our fences need welding and painting on site, this provides a solid, attractive and durable fence that will last for well over 60 years.
